Jack Turns Six.....

Well it's official my baby turned 6 this week..as most of you know I have been fighting this inevitable event and have cried and cried and cried about it.....It's all RJ's fault.....he won't let me have anymore babies....so I have to keep the one child I have little for ever....Jack is so stinkn' cute right now...I don't want him to grow up and be a stinky boy.....At the moment he is obsessed with the Mario Brother's games for the Wii and Dsi....so this year's birthday theme was Mario....I of course had to order everything off the Internet as there was nothing available in stores. I told Jack he could invite his whole class and the 6 friends he hangs out with that aren't in his class. Ok, you might think Michele is CRAZY!!!!! Well in my defense, here in Vegas with parents working all different kinds of hours and parents not really knowing each other, kids just don't go to each others parties...Jack has been to several parties where it has been him and 2 other children...So I was thinking maybe 10 kids......well we had 26 children including Jack who we are now referring to as Mr. Popular!!! I was a little freaked out when parent after parent called to RSVP......Mind you I did not tell my mom or RJ until the night before what the final head count was....I expected them to freak out and yell at me.....due to the stress in my life right now they were very nice and supportive and acted like it was to big deal...I am sure they talked about me behind my back, and maybe considered having me put in the nut farm.......
Well, the party was a huge success.......we had a man come and do magic tricks and make balloon animals......I ordered all the food and cooked not one thing! Jack and the other mario obsessed children played Mario on the Wii(we have four controllers now, so that was fun). It was such a fun day.....after the party my wonderful husband and awesome mama helped me clean the house up....and considering we had 26 children and their parents the house was in good condition...next year we are going to Disney World for Jack's birthday and we are not taking 26 children with us.....Enjoy the pics!!!!!

Birthday Boy at School

On Jack's birthday RJ brought cupcakes to help celebrate his birthday and brought him McDonalds for lunch....The three of us ate lunch in my classroom...it was nice and peaceful and we enjoyed spending some quality time together....with RJ's crazy hours we don't spend much time together as a family.....so Jack and I were sooooo excited when RJ took Jack's Birthday off. After school we took Jack and his friend Jack Brogan ( I know wierd, huh?) to the Mini Grand Prix. They drove cars and rode the rides. After the Grand Prix we ate some yummy pizza. Jack spent the night...and we actually got them to bed at a decent hour. Enjoy the pics.....

Student of the Week.

Jack was student of the Week this week!!! He also got his report card. RJ and I are so proud of him! He is doing so well in school. He loves to read, but Math and Science are his favorite subjects. Guess he takes after my dad...Here is a picture of Jack with his All About Me Poster he had to fill out for being Student of the week and another of him leading his class in a song and dance...You get to be the teacher's helper when you are star student.....

Easter Sunday

Well, so far Easter Sunday has been very fun but relaxing...We started off the morning by finding the goodies that the Easter Bunny left and then did an Egg hunt in our Jammies..After the egg hunt Jack immediatly started playing his Mario DS game that the Easter Bunny put in his basket..in case you can't figure out with all the posts that Jack is wearing Mario T-shirts or jammies, he is obsessed with Mario! While Jack was playing and RJ was doing nothing! Hee Hee....I made a big pancake breakfast...After breakfast RJ went down for his nap...Jack and I built a lego set..After I finish this blog I am going to go make deviled eggs...Tonight Jack is going to go to Omi's house and RJ and I are going to Viva Elvis Cirque Du Soleil at the Aria! I can't wait...well tomorrow it is back to school for me and Jack...Not sure we are ready....Enjoy the pics!

Tonight Jack asked if he could color some more Easter eggs....You know I am up for anything crafty....so I drug out all the dye, etc. and we got started....Jack did such a good job this year and got really creative....he made this really amazing pink and blue Easter egg specifically for the Easter Bunny.....We can't wait to leave the eggs out for the Easter Bunny to hide on Sunday morning.....Enjoy the pics....

Easter Party

Today Jack's friend Becca had a little Easter Party at her house....The children dyed Easter eggs and then we sent them off while we hid the eggs...What fun! Enjoy the pics......

Jack has been doing a lot of bowling over the spring break..Sunday night his teacher Mrs. Coltharp(Heather) took him bowling and RJ and I had a date night! Tonight we went bowling with Mrs. Coltharp and her son Dylan...we also invited Jack's friend Jack and his sister Rowie...After bowling, Jack went over to Jack's house to spend the night..I am enjoying a quiet evening catching up on my DVR shows....Enjoy the pics!
