Cub Scout Rock Climb.....

Tonight Jack went to the Nevada Climbing Center to rock climb with his cub scout troop.....he has never rock climbed before, but he really enjoyed it! We just found out there is a rock climbing center down the street from our house, so I think we will be going there often...Jack really likes climbing, and it is great exercise.... Enjoy the pics...

Crafty Kind of Day.....

Well I have been busy crafting the last couple of days.....I made a picture for our friend Jim's 50th birthday....he loves to golf...so I wanted to make something with a golf theme.....I wish the picture would have turned out better....A bright flash of light is appearing in the middle....I also made a friend plaque for his wife Jenn....I had so much fun making both projects.  While in california my mom gave me some wood pieces to paint...One of the pieces which was a basket, I decided to mod podge paper onto it instead of painting it.  It looks really cute and I think It will look really cute on my desk at school.....

Family BBQ.....

On our last day in Cali my mom had a lovely BBQ.... With our dear friends Elbert and Charlyn Hada(who now live in Missouri) and their daughters Susie and her husband Rob(who still live in San Diego)..and their daughter Deedee and her son Matthew(Deedee's husband was on business in San Fransisco) and Deedee and her family also live in Missouri now....Dear friend Frank Callahan also drove down from Central California.....We of course missed his wife Karin who was away in Montana......It does not happen very often that we are all in California at the same time....So I was so happy that my mom organized a Family BBQ! Elbert and Charlyn did something very special for my mom this trip...They drove out instead of flying and brought my mom an antique buffet from my Grandmother's house! What special friends to do that for my mom! :) Below is a very special picture of Susie, Me, Deedee, Matthew and Jackson.... These girls were my very first friends and they got to help my parents bring my home from the Hospital.....I love them! I am also adding a picture of Kenzie and Jack sleeping.......They were so tired they slept through us packing and loading the car to head back to Vegas......Jack is now at Mackenzie's house....we have not seen him since Tuesday......Jenn wants to keep him through the weekend.  :) They have a pool and it is hot! I want to stay at their house too.....

Last Day Of Beach WeeK

Well, MeMe and Pops will be here in the morning to unhook the Motorhome and we will head back to their house! The last day of beach week was rainy...That's right it rained most of the day! But, we did not let that bother us...we stayed and played anyway.....Tonight we grilled hot dogs and corn on the cob, had potato salad, and enjoyed some California melons again...mmmmmm...we love our California fruit.  After dinner the kids went swimming in the resort pool...in the rain...and RJ bought us all ice cream from the camp store.....The highlight of the evening was making Jiffy Pop on the Motorhome stove! Jack and Kenzie had soooo much fun....especially since Kenzie's exploded all over the motorhome......don't worry MeMe we cleaned it up!

Beach Week Day 3

We had another fabulous day....except for one little thing....I jammed my thumb while boogie boarding!!! Ouch! I had to take a little break from the beach and head back to the RV to rest...I was in sooooo much pain! We ate seafood again tonight! Yummo! Shrimp Quesadillas and Fish Tacos......we ended the evening with a dip in the resort pool and ice cream from an ice cream truck....The kids are all tucked in watching TV and RJ and I are sitting outside enjoying the 66 degree night........

Beach Week Day 2

Today was Day Two of our Beach Week! The weather was nice, but the water was FREEZING! We had fun playing in the Sand.....and Jack and Mackenzie talked me in to going into the ocean with them!! While I was boogie boarding I could not feel my legs or feet the were so COLD! After the day at the beach we went to the Harbor Fish Cafe for a wonderful fish and chips dinner right on the beach......The kids and RJ  went swimming in the resort pool and I relaxed around the fire for a bit......Enjoy our pictures from Beach Week Day 2.....

Beach Week Day 1

We arrived at the beach and are already having a great time! The resort has a lovely pool for us to swim in and we took advantage of it immediately....after a little swimming we grilled burgers and enjoyed some amazing California melons and berries.....Then Jackson, Kenzie, and I went for a sunset walk on the beach....Tomorrow we plan to spend the entire day at the beach! Can't Wait!

Sea World San Diego

We had another fabulous vacation day and it was RJ's birthday! So we went to Sea World.....We got there when the park opened and stayed until it closed....Every one's favorite ride was the Manta.....a brand new state of the art roller coaster that was AMAZING! We all really enjoyed the New Dolphin show and the Sea Lion show......The day ended with a beautiful fire work display! It is nearly 1 am and everyone is sound asleep...as usual I am up unable to sleep, just thinking about how blessed I am to have the most amazing family and friends... I am really sad that Jim, Jenn, and Matthew will be heading back to Vegas tomorrow...At least they are letting us keep Mackenzie!  Enjoy our pictures of the "Bogansen Family" day at Sea World.
