Afternoon at Springs Preserve....

This morning Jackson and I met some of the moms and kids from our school at the Springs Preserve. I call them the "Stay at Home Mom Group", I have either taught some of their kids or have them in my class right now....They come and volunteer in my room and plan all sorts of fun things for our school....Once a week they get together and take their little ones that aren't in school yet on field trips...when their older kids are on track break they include them in the fun.. So that is where Jack and I come into the picture...They have included Jack and myself in their fun field trips during this track break...Jack missed the last weeks trip to the Dairy because he had a dentist appointment...They are wonderful group of moms and kiddos and it is so thoughtful of them to include us!

The Springs Preserve is all decorated for Halloween and it is amazing...they have this scarecrow garden full of different types of scarecrows that people in the community have made...Jack liked all the ones that looked like Frankenstein...After playing on the playground, and a walk through the garden, we ended the outing with a nice relaxing picnic...What Fun!

Jack is off to a sleepover and I am off to a movie.....enjoy the pics...

Lunch With Teacher, A Haircut, and Cupcake Decorating

Jack and I had a very fun but busy today...We invited his teacher Heather and her son Dylan over for lunch and a play date...Heather brought over cookies and icing for the boys to decorate...they loved it! After they left I took Jack for a much needed haircut..his hair is so thick and bushy that he needs a haircut every two to three weeks now..otherwise is head is hot and miserable...after the haircut we headed to Target to buy stuff to make Halloween cupcakes for the Brodersen family...Jack misses seeing them everyday..especially his Omi...He loves kindergarten but misses Omi watching him....Our vacation is coming to a close and we are not quite ready to go back...enjoy the pics...

Pumpkin Pickn' and the Park

Today Jack and I headed off to the Pumpkin patch with our friends Heather and Dylan....Heather is Jack's teacher....He still calls her Heather, but at school he calls her Mrs. Coltharp...Its hard when a good friend is your son's teacher...Jack has always called her Heather and when we are all together outside of school, she insists that Jack not call her, Mrs. Coltharp...Jack thinks this is the coolest thing ever...

We had a wonderful day....We were at the patch for about an hour, the boys were having so much fun just roaming around...after the patch we had a quick lunch and then headed to the most wonderful park...I did not even know it existed until today. It is pretty far from our house, but we will definitely be going back soon..
Jack and Dylan had so much fun and it was even warm enough for them to run through the water elements...Jack just loves Dylan and today asked him if he could be his big brother.....so cute....Enjoy the pics from our wonderful day...
