Guess who's a second grader???

Well, the boy started Second Grade today!! He also started a new school...Since we moved up to the Northwest side of town he is going to one of our neighborhood schools.. RJ and I both very busy at work so....My mom(MeMe)came up last and took Jack to all his back to school activities and took him to his first day of school today....

Last Day at the Beach....

Yesterday was our last day at Jessica's beach house....so sad..... but..Jack and I had such an amazing day! (despite it being cloudy and a little cold)....Jack and Colton decided to be Kings so Jessica dug about 6 different holes and made thrones for them to sit in..Jack changed Jessica's name to: "The Royal Digger"....today she is a little sore.... :( .......only a few days of summer left....ahhh where did the time go?

The Train and USS Midway....

Today Jack and I took the train from Oceanside down to the San Diego Harbor to visit the USS Midway(Aircraft Carrier). Meme met us at the train station and joined us on our tour. If you are ever in the San Diego area I highly recommend this tour....It is amazing how big those Carriers are and all the amenities they have on board...Enjoy the pics!

Race Cars A Go Go.....

On Friday Jackson and I headed up to Orange County to visit his Kindergarten teacher Heather Coltharp(she just moved back to Orange County from Las Vegas).....we stopped in Corona and met Heather's mother and 7 nephews at Pole Position for a little race car fun! Enoy the pictures....

Today Jessica's Hubby, Ian taught Jack how to surf....he did pretty good...he was able to pull himself up to his knees....Yay Jack! He wiped out a couple of times and got a little frustrated....but says he wants to try again next time we are at the beach....

Summer Fun

Jack and I have had an amazing summer...we are ending it with a little relaxation at MeMe and PoPs' house....Jack spent a week here and now I am here and we decided to stay another two weeks...Jack loves it here and so do I....He has spent a total of 6 weeks at MeMe's house this summer! Below are some pictures of him and his friends Colton and Cady at the beach....riding his four wheeler at MeMe's house....and one of him passed out after a long day at the beach....Hope you all are enjoying your summer!
