This weekend Jack and I went to my mom and dad's house for a little weekend getaway..I thought I would share the pictures of my mom and Jack playing at the beach...Aren't they cute?? Enjoy.....

RJ's "Mini Me"

RJ and Jack are definitely FATHER and SON.....Look at this picture I took of them sleeping this morning...Jack usually crawls into bed with us every morning around 5:30 a.m. and when I get out of bed and get ready for work..this is what I see...RJ and his 'mini me"...all snuggled up...and don't they look like twins separated at birth???? Guess our theory that Jack's father is the FedEx man is not true...Enjoy the pic of my sleeping boys...

Passed Out!

Jack has had way too much fun the last couple of weeks and it has finally caught up with him....tonight at about 7:00 pm Jack was playing his Wii for about 10 minutes....when I went to check on him this is what I found....





He literally passed out with the controllers in his hands...I think Jack was about 2 the last time he fell asleep at 7...I just scooped him up and put him in his bed..he didn't wake up even to see what was going on...that little boy is TIRED....

Indiana Jones and the Sleep Over

New Camera....

As if you didn't already know I have the most wonderful husband on the planet!!! Today my husband bought me a new camera!!!! It is the most beautiful, wonderful camera ever...It is a Canon EOS Rebel T1i....I love it so much...I am a little overwhelmed with all that it can do...I will be practicing a lot...so that means more blog posts for you to read...hee hee..Here are a couple I took of Jack tonight with my new baby...It is so hot here so today I took Jack to the barber and had all his thick hair shaved off...Enjoy...

Troy State Fight Song...

So I have been thinking a lot about my college days lately....Literally the best years of my life...As I am starting yet another Master's Degree...I wish I could go back to good old Troy State..Oh excuse me..it is called Troy University now...still can't get used to that one..anyway..I think it would be fun for RJ,Jack and I to live in the dorms!!!! How fun would that be! Hee Hee..So I found the Troy University fight song and decided to put it on my blog....Enjoy...

A Trip to Corie's.....

Jack and I just got back from a very delightful weekend getaway....We went to visit my childhood best friend Corie...and her adorable family....Corie and I have known each other since the summer before Kindergarten...we met at Vacation Bible School 30 years ago....It was so much fun catching up and reminiscing about the past...Jack loved Corie's kiddos and made them play Star Wars all weekend.....Her son Jeremy had so many Star Wars toys I thought Jack's head was going to explode....infact there was a pool party with about a million kids and Jack was perfectly content playing in Jeremy's room with all the Star Wars toys.....I discovered this weekend that Jack is very shy around kids he does not know....I was also excited because I got him to eat a Hot Dog...Yay!
We can't wait to go back to Corie's house this fall...We are planning a trip already for Halloween weekend!

The Holloways Visit.....

This week the Holloways are visiting Las Vegas....Jack and I tagged along and did a ton of fun things...We took the kids to the Shark Reef, the M&M factory, and the Springs Preserve.....Not to mention we spent 6 hours each day in the totally awesome Mandalay Bay pool! Jack and I hated to say goodbye today..but we are really excited about heading up to Clovis, California in the morning to visit our friend Corie and her family.....Enjoy the pics.....

Happy 4th of July!!

Today as America celebrated her birthday, RJ had to work...so Jack and I hung out with friends and we had a blast. My friend Deb Meldrum invited us over for swimming and a BBQ..Jack had so much fun swimming with all the kids..Of course as usual all girls...Jack loves the attention all the girls always give him...Deb made yummy BBQ ribs and the rest of us brought side dishes...I can't believe the cool weather today..We sat outside all afternoon and it was so pleasant.....

At 8o'clock Jack and I left Deb's party and headed to Jen and Jim Bodersen's house...Jen's mom(Omi)is Jack's babysitter...The Brodersens invited us over to set off fireworks and swim...Jack was soooo happy to see Jen, Omi and Jen's kids Matthew and Mackenzie...I have been on vacation so Jack hasn't seen them for 3 weeks...The kids really loved the fireworks..after the fireworks the kids went swimming..Jack loved the fact that it was dark outside and just the lights in the pool were on...Jack was having so much fun and Matthew and Mackenzie were so happy to see him..so he was invited to stay the night...At first I was a little nervous..but then as usual Jen said "Go"...."He is a big boy, he will have soooo much fun."...I told Jack he was staying the night and he got out of the pool gave me a kiss and said, "see you later"....It is a very weird feeling..but I am excited at the same time that Jack is having so much fun...RJ was a little surprised when he got home and I told him Jack was spending the night with Matthew and Mackenzie...I think he is a little more freaked out then me...

Anyway we hope you all had a wonderful 4th....and are enjoying your summer.....
