We Started Kindergarten Today!!!!

Jack and I both started Kindergarten today....Jack was the student and I was the teacher of my very own Kindergarten class...However, I am not Jack's teacher....Jack is in a whole day program and I am teaching half day kinder...so I have an a.m. class and a p.m class.....

Jack had a wonderful day and loves Kindergarten...He goes by Jackson at school now and he told me he likes that! Yay!!! Mrs. Coltharp told us he did a very good job sharing and loved singing and dancing...Yay Jackson!!! Enjoy the pictures of Jack arriving at school this morning:

Today my school hosted a back to school bbq for all the students and their families...the children got a chance to meet their teachers and see their classrooms..Of course Jack wanted nothing to do with his classroom...he wanted to come to mine...after a while he warmed up and did ok....he even showed his friends his classroom and showed them where he is going to sit...You can tell by the look on his face that he is a little freaked out! He loves Mrs. Coltharp so I think everything will be ok. It was funny because she had tons of pictures of Jack and her son Dylan on her family board....Right before the bbq I helped her take them down.....we didn't think the other parents would like that very much...so now they are on my family board! :) Enjoy the pics from today!

Back To School Beach Trip

RJ,Jack,my Mother in law and myself went to California for a little beach getaway this past weekend...we had so much fun and it was soooo relaxing....I don't know about the others.....but I did not want to come back to Vegas..ugh! Enjoy the pics of my little beach baby...he is all about the beach......can't wait to take him back...

While we were at my mom's house this weekend I took some pics of Jack...I think they turned out so cute...He was pretending to be Indiana Jones while I was snapping away..He wasn't really wanting me to take his picture...but as usual he goes along with it to make me happy...such a good little munchkin...

Tonight Jack put on a show for me....when he came down stairs he said." I can't find my Darth Vader mask"..."I am using my imagination and using this dino mask."....this is what he looked like when he performed his little show...so cute...It's DINOVADER...

Took these shots of Jack in the Bathtub.......I was thinking what with him being five now...and starting Kindergarten in two weeks...That these will probably be the last tub pictures I will take.....He is to big for that now...ahhh I am tearing up as I write this...Can't believe he his going to be in Kindergarten...My little baby boy is growing up so fast...time is just flying by..it scares me a little...anyway enjoy these bathtub pics as they will most likely be the last ones.....

Friday Pay Day....

This week Jack started getting an allowance....He gets paid every Friday so around our house it's called "Friday Pay Day"....Jack has really been helping out a lot around the house so we thought it was time for him to get an allowance...It is also helping with the things I have trouble getting him to do ...Like PICK UP TOYS...
Today we went to Walmart and Jack spent his allowance on Legos...

Friends, Food and Fun....

Today RJ and I had a BBQ for a few of our friends....Well, the weather is soooo hot here that we had it at the Brodersen house because they have a pool...We wanted to have a dinner to thank our dear friends the Brodersens and the Goodalls for helping us take care of Jack...Both of these families are amazing and we feel blessed to have them in our lives....The Brodersen's kept Jack a lot when RJ's father was ill and in hospice...and of course in the days following his death..we would have been lost with out their help and love...the Goodalls also helped during that difficult time and they loan us their 14 year old daughter all the time when we need a sitter..and at a moments notice...RJ and I are just so thankful to have them as friends....Jack loves them too.. In fact we could not get him to leave tonight to come home with us...so he is sleeping over at the Brodersens....ahhh a nice evening at home just the hubby and me...Yay!
