How The Grinch Stole Christmas...

My mom took Jack to a live stage show of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas"...at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego...They both loved it and said the guy who played the Grinch was AMAZING. Here is a picture of Jack in front of my mom's Christmas tree..wearing a Cat in the Hat, hat and holding the Grinch..both items were purchased at the play....

Christmas 2009

Well, Christmas is over and we Bogans are back in Vegas....We had a wonderful time in California and feel so blessed that RJ had the whole week off and we were able to do so. My mom always makes Christmas so special for us, and we always enjoy her home cooked meals three times a day..Yum! Christmas day we opened our gifts and I believe Jackson opened his gifts at lightening speed! Ha! The rest of the day we put a lego Helicopter together and just relaxed a little....The evening was spent watching the San Diego Super Chargers!!!! Go Boltz!!!! We drove home yesterday and it literally took all day..We started out at 10 am...Turned around at 12pm and headed back to my parents..the traffic was horrible....We decided to try again later in the evening at 5:30pm....It was smooth sailing to Barstow..we stopped for Dinner and got back on the road.... The traffic was once again awful..We finally got home at 11:45pm.....We thought we would never make it!

Today we went to Legoland as part of Jack's reward for an awesome report card!!! He is doing so well in school, so we decided to surprise him....he was soooooo excited.....Legoland is the best place to take a boy who is obsessed with Legos.....Enjoy the pictures from our wonderful day!!

Holiday Party at the Petrosky's

Last night Jack and I had a wonderful time at a wonderful Christmas party, hosted by good friends Jerry and Sheilah Petrosky....This was the ultimate family party..very kid friendly and sooooo much fun..The evening started off with drinks for the grown ups and an arts and crafts room for the children...then Santa arrived with gifts for all the children..after visits with santa and opening gifts, we went Caroling around the Petrosky neighborhood! Sooo Fun! Jack had a great time running from house to house knocking on the doors to get people to come out..He also stood in front of all of us singers, pretending to be the choir leader..he was so cute!!
Well, Christmas is a week a way!!! Are you all ready? We Bogan three are heading to California for the week! We are very excited. Can't wait to see friends and family, go to Legoland, and finally enjoy Christmas together with my parents..Merry Christmas. Enjoy the pics...
