Another Beach Day....

Today the Bogans and Brodersens or as we call ourselves "The Bogansens" headed to the beach....It was a very cloudy and chilly day....But we still had fun! Me, Jenn and the kids did a lot of swimming....The water was really warm....Tomorrow we are heading to Sea World for another day of fun! Enjoy today's beach pictures....

Happy Fourth of July!!!

Today was an amazingly wonderful 4th of July! Our Good friends the Brodersens came down to MeMe and Pop's house and we had a nice relaxing day! I gave Jenn a tour of Fallbrook and Bonsall and showed her all my old stomping grounds...MeMe made wonderful snacks and of course an amazing dinner! We decided not to get out to view fireworks as we will see some on Friday at Sea World..However, MeMe found some sparklers left over from my grandmother's 80th Birthday! That was 12 year ago! They still worked!!!! The kids were so happy and really had a lot of  fun with them.  Today was also Indy the Dog's 1st birthday......We love our baby girl and she loves being at MeMe's house.....for her birthday she ate a hot dog and some smores, with out the chocolate of course! Er Visit.....And Fun with Aunt Jessica

I guess a vacation with my little boy would not be complete without a visit to the ER! Last week he had two spider bites.....one on his tummy and one on his tooshie.......Monday night the one on his tummy expanded and became really red.....It also had a horrible welt around it....So this morning we decided to take him to the ER.....The ER doctor suspects that he got bit by a spider with very dirty fangs......all is well now he is on antibiotics and the bites already look MUCH BETTER!
Tonight my bestie Jessica invited Jackson and Makenzie over to swim and sleepover......Jessica and her hubby Ian just finished construction on their pool this morning......so Jack and Kenzie got to help break it in!!!!
Tomorrow we will celebrate the fourth with my parents and Mackenzie's parents and brother Matthew....They are coming down for a few days for some beach fun and a trip to Sea World.....They were also going to pick up Kenzie but she has decided to stay with us for another Week! :) Enjoy today's pictures... More Summer Fun....

 We are still having an Amazing Summer! The best part is that RJ is finally here with us! The last few days we have been busy swimming and I have been painting some of my Grandmother's furniture.  I can't wait to put the finished pieces (an end table and coffee table) in our Family Room!  Here are just a couple of pictures of the furniture and Jack, Makenzie, Colton and Cady swimming at The Lawrence Welk Resort......Enjoy.......

The Del Mar Fair.....

Yesterday we headed to the Fair for a day of food and fun! We met up with Jessica, Colton and Cady, and the kids had a blast! Their favorite activity was this Zip Line Across the Race Track Lake! I got a little emotional when we walked through the barns with all the 4-H kids....I showed Jack where I used to keep my Sheep and Cows and where I used to show them....We watched the sheep market class and Jack said he would like to be in 4-H and show sheep too!  Well I told him it might not happen in Vegas, but we would think of something.....Enjoy the Pictures from our Fabulous Day!

San Diego Zoo Safari

Today Jack, Kenzie and I spent the day at the Wild Animal Park(aka San Diego Zoo Safari).......I still can't get used to the new the name......it's weird! We had a fabulous time.....The kids and I went several times into the Lorikeet exhibit....They flocked to Jack! He loved every minute of it! Enjoy the Pics....Tomorrow we are off to the Del Mar Fair....

California Summer!

 Our California Summer Vacation has begun....We have been at MeMe's for a week and we are having so much Fun! We brought Jack's friend Mackenzie with us and she is really enjoying MeMe's ranch, the beach and of course the nice weather!
