Fall Festival 2010

Well...I should be working on homework instead of writing this blog.....but somehow this seems like more fun.....Last night was our school's Fall Festival....It has been raining for days, and it stopped just in time for the festivities to begin......Literally and hour before to be exact.......As usual they had games, food, and a haunted barn......Jack was obsessed with the firefighters and fire truck......He must of climbed in the truck about 100 times and talked the firefighters' ears off......
We are getting excited for Halloween next weekend. Looking forward to to trick or treating with good friends......

Rainy Day

Pumpkin Patch....

Tonight I took my sweet boy out to dinner and to a local pumpkin patch carnival....We had soooooo much fun! It was near my school so it had a small town feeling, as we knew just about everyone there.....Enjoy the pictures.....

Gold and Silver Monster

Today for part of Jack's homework he had to create a creature out of an apple and write three sentences about his creature......He had so much fun with this project....thought I would share some pics....He named his creature "Gold and Silver Monster", from the "Gold and Silver Planet"...too cute....enjoy....

Tiger Scout

Two weeks ago Jackson started Cub Scouts....He is a Tiger Cub......We as a family are loving the scouts....Jack is having such a wonderful time and when I told him Pops(my dad) was a boy scout he was sooooo excited! This week for one of his patches he had to find leaves and do leaf imprints on paper,do chores around the house, go on a hike and make a picture frame for a family photo......On Friday night he did the leaf imprint with his troop at a meeting and went on a hike with the troop on Sunday....He has been doing all sorts of chores and will make his frame this Friday at his troop meeting......He is obsessed with his uniform and wants to wear it all the time! :)......He wore the shirt hiking on Sunday even though it was 105 outside......Enjoy the pictures!

Crazy Hair Day.....

Today was crazy hair day at school.....Jack wanted his hair to be red, blue and silver....So I picked up some colored hairspray at Party City and this is how it turned out.....He looked pretty cool....Enjoy......Mr. Police Officer with red,blue and silver hair!

Pizza Night

Tonight Jack is having Matthew and Mackenzie over for a sleepover. We made yummy pizza...Jack and Matthew made Cheese pizza....Mackenzie made pepparoni....They actually tasted pretty good......Enjoy the pics......

Back To School

Whew!!! What a long day!! I was so busy with my little Kindergartners that I missed Jackson's first day of first grade......RJ brought him to school.....took him to his line...walked him to class and took all the pictures....I didn't even see my little guy until the end of the day when his friends Matthew and Mackenzie walked him to my classroom....Enjoy the pictures RJ took of Jackson's first day of first grade! :)

Staycation....

Well....we had planned to head to San Diego for our annual beach week but, everyone except me got very sick....Jack was already in San Diego with my parents....he was sick, my mom got sick, and my dad had the beginnings of a sore throat....Meanwhile here in Vegas RJ also became very sick....so I headed to California Tuesday to fetch Jackson and Turned right back around on Wednesday and came back to Vegas....When we got back to Vegas Jack was feeling much better, and RJ was starting to feel like himself again....so we decided to have a Staycation on the Strip just in case anyone needed to go to the Dr. or wanted to come home and rest....We decided to get a room at the Golden Nugget for two nights... They have a really cool pool area....They have this enormous Shark tank and a 3 story slide that goes right through the Shark tank....the part that goes through the tank is clear...so if you slow down you can see the Sharks....VERY COOL....We must have gone down the slide about 100 times....So much fun! We kept our room keys so we will definitely be going back there again soon....Can't Wait! Upon returning home Jack was not feeling well again....so we took him to the Dr.....He had a double ear infection! oops guess we should not have done all that swimming....all is well now...we are just enjoying a few quiet days at home...Enjoy the pics....
