Spring Break Sleepover....

Tonight Jack had his friend Becca over for a play date and sleepover..She is sooo adorable and we all love her....I took them to see the new movie, How to Train Your Dragon...What a fantastic movie...we then headed to McDonald's for a little dinner and play time....they spent the rest of the night trying to complete levels on the Super Mario Brothers game for the Wii....I finally got them to bed somewhere around 11pm....These pictures are evidence that they were wild and had no intentions of settling down and going to sleep...I finally closed the door and left them...a little while later I when back and they were passed out...Jack in his bed...Becca on the air mattress.....I guess I better get to bed...I have a feeling they are going to be up bright and early...Enjoy!

Silly String..

Today we bought some silly string.....Jack and I had a silly string fight and even attacked RJ.....as you can see in the picture up top, Jack had it in is hair and all over his face....What Fun!!! Enjoy the Pics.......

Happy St. Patty's Day

Jack and I had so much fun at school today.......His teacher and I did the same activities with our Kindergartners, so Jack and I had the exact same experience in two different rooms. RJ took some pictures of Jack this morning, as I was busy in my classroom....Enjoy the pics....

100th day of School and Leprechaun Traps.....

Today was Jack's 100th day of school...they did all kinds of activities having to do with the number 100...Last night Jack also made a Leprechaun trap to catch a Leprechaun at school....Tonight they left them on their desks hoping to catch a Leprechaun or some candy....Enjoy the pictures.....

Pajama Day and a Special Guest

Today was the last day of Nevada Reading Week...Jack and I are wiped out! It has been a fun and exciting week, but I am ready to get back to my regular schedule next week. Today was Pajama Day! The best part of today was my principal who just retired 6 weeks ago, came to read to four classes today..Wow! what a treat....We miss her so much! She just had knee replacement surgery and has some other health problems so I was so honored she came to read to my class. Jack misses her so much..we still see her outside of school, but it is not the same not having her at school everyday.....She has promised to come back and read to my class again...I can't wait...

Today Jack wore his Indiana Jones hat for Crazy Hat Day at school....tomorrow is crazy sock day...He is going to wear some really cool Spiderman socks....I love these dress up days...they are so much fun..Enjoy...

Nevada Reading Week

This week at school it is Nevada Reading Week.....We celebrate Dr. Seuss and do all kinds of fun reading activities...today the kids wore shirts with words and sunglasses....here is a picture of Jack in is Batman shirt and glasses...The little girl in the picture is his friend Kristen...Enjoy...

Bubba Bear

Today Jack got to bring home Bubba Bear from school. Once a week someone brings Bubba home to take care of him....Then they have to write in their journal everything they did with Bubba. Today Jack took Bubba to Grandma's house, Grandma just had knee surgery so we went to visit her after school. Then Bubba helped Jack do his homework, followed by Jack teaching Bubba how to play Super Mario Brothers on the Wii. After dinner, Bubba watched Jack take a bath and then Jack read Bubba two stories....They are now watching Danny Phantom drifting off the dreamland.....

Matthew's Bday...

Today was Matthew's Birthday...Matthew is Jackson's Best Friend....They were sooooooo tired at the party...Jack spent the night at Matthew's house Thursday night and then Matthew spent the night at our house last night...and now Jack is sleeping at Matthew's house again tonight....It's back to reality for Jack and and I on Monday...after a nice two week vacation we have to go back to school....We didn't get to do much...Jack came down with strep throat two days into our vacation..and 5 days later I thought I had strep throat but it was actually and allergic reaction to something... My throat was so swollen and soar..I really thought I was going to die!!! Jack and I spent most of this break in bed...Ugh! no fun! Of course we are all better in time to go back to work and school...oh well only 5 more weeks until spring break....

Drive-In

Tonight I took Jackson to see the movie "Tooth Fairy" at the Drive-In. He has been sick with strep throat...but has been asking to go to a movie...I decided to take him to the drive-in..so we could stay in our nice warm car... I hadn't been to a drive in movie in like 20 years and I really thought Jack would love it...and he did. ...He got a kick out of the fact that we had pillows and blankets and snuggled up in the back of the Explorer....He thought it was really cool that the sound came through our radio! We will definitely be doing this again..What Fun....
