Boy Scout Jamboree......

Jack and I survived Boy Scout Camp/Jamboree....... I mean that literally! Friday was very windy. We arrived at camp and got everything set up. The boys were up until about 10 pm running around having the best time. It was a little cold and windy but bearable. Jack and I got into our nice warm tent and got settled in for the night. Jack was out like a light! An hour later the wind really started blowing. We were still warm but it was impossible to sleep with all the wind(for me anyway, Jack slept through it all!) Our tent kept going up and down like it was breathing and the sound of the trees overhead which sounded like they could break and land on us at any moment.....freaked me out! The next morning we emerged from our tent to find out that 60 mile an hour winds had blown through our camp!
Well, we didn't let the wind and cold damper our spirits.....the boys got up and headed to the Jamboree for a day of boy scout fun and education.......that evening many of the parents and children left.....they didn't want to deal with the wind another night! Including the head master! Well our little Tigers really wanted to stay another night so all us parents agreed to stay along with two Wolves, 7 Webelos and the Camp Master.......by 5 o'clock the wind stopped and it was a beautiful night! Jack slept in another tent with his buddies Joshua and Anthony and I had a wonderful nights sleep our tent all by myself.........We had a wonderful time and can't wait for the next boy scout camp out.....
If your wondering where RJ was......he doesn't camp.......although he did stop by and eat dinner with us Saturday night......Enjoy the pics!

An Artist????

Jack is turning into quite the little artist! RJ and I are so proud of him. Last year he had a horrible art teacher who told him his art work was, "Ugly" and "Awful"...Needless to say after the assistant principal Mr. Davis witnessed one of these tirades against Jack.....He was livid and Mr. Davis went with Jack every Tuesday to art class....Well, this year our principal hired a new art teacher and she is WONDERFUL! Jack loves art and is doing well.....and below is the latest masterpiece displayed in the entry way at school! Enjoy!

Jack Turns 7 !!!!

Well if you can believe it our little Jackson turned 7 this week! We came down to my mom's for the week and headed to Disneyland for 3 days. We had so much fun, but it was way to crowded for us! We know better then to go this time of year, but that is what Jack wanted to do for his birthday and I couldn't say "No"......... MeMe even went and got the tickets for him a week before his birthday! Next year we will celebrate his birthday in October when Disney is EMPTY...hee hee.......Enjoy the pictures!

Student of the Month.....

Well our little Jackson was awarded "Student of the Month" today! We are so proud of the little guy! They had a little awards ceremony in the schools atrium and an ice cream treat! Enjoy the pics..... Jack and Assistant Principal, Mr. Davis Silly Boy..... Yummy Ice Cream.....

A/B Honor Roll..........

We are so proud of our little Jackson!!!! He made A/B honor roll again!!! Jack also got an award for "Most Improved" in writing!
