Are you serious? November came and went, now December has come and gone......and Christmas is over...........I'm not sure where the time went or how it all went by so fast!! In November, the three of us headed down to California to visit MeMe and Pops...They had been gone traveling since August, so we hadn't seen them in FOREVER! Jack had a blast shooting his bb gun with Pops, and playing with his bestie Colton......As usual we ate at our favorite Pizza place and MeMe cooked some yummy home cooked meals for us! RJ and I had a Sushi Date Night and Pops came along with us.....Meme stayed home and played with Jack. I got to spend one whole day painting and crafting with my Jessica while Colton and Jack played.....What a wonderful relaxing weekend! Just what we needed......Then it was back to the grind....school, cub scouts, Jack's social calendar...lol...
In December we enjoyed spending time with friends...and getting ready for the holidays! My girlfriends and I enjoyed our annual gift exchange and luncheon, this year they all came back to my house for dessert and wine. December also brought a little medical scare for our Jackson.....he got bit by something on his hand(most likely a spider).....and it swelled up to the size of a golf ball. He had to have it biopsy and they discovered he had something called MSSA....which is a staph infection.... and a distant reletive to MRSSA... we now know he also had an outbreak this summer while in California...we took him to the Er in San Diego...they just thought it was a bad spider bite....so this time the biopsy reviled something much more serious. The poor guy had to have 8 rounds of and antibiotic shot, and then an oral antibiotic for 10 more days.....He's all better now...but we have to monitor any and all scratches and bites he gets in the future.... For Christmas we spent a quiet day at home...my parents came up for California, and we were so lucky to have them here! Jack is in the G.A.T.E. program at school and they have some class pets, a Bearded Dragon, and a Tarantula. Jack got picked to take care of them over the break! So we are having fun babysitting! My mom loves the Bearded Dragon....I thought for sure she was going to take him home with her! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! Happy New Year!
